Light Adjustable Lens with Panorama LASIK at Eye Center of Northern Colorado
Important Instructions and Appointment Details:
- Wear Your UV-Protective Glasses:
- You MUST continue to wear your UV-protective glasses from the time of lens implantation until 24 hours after your last light treatment is completed. This is crucial for your eye protection.
- Appointment Length:
- Expect your appointment to last between 1.5 to 2 hours, especially during your initial visit.
- Appointment Process:
- Initial Meeting: You will first meet with a technician who will perform testing and measure your current vision.
- Vision Discussion: The technician will discuss your current vision status and your expectations for your vision.
- Dilation Process: The first round of dilation drops will be administered to begin dilating your pupils. You will then return to the waiting room.
- Second Dilation: After 5-10 minutes, a second set of dilation drops will be administered to ensure your pupils are fully dilated for the Light Delivery Device (LDD) treatment.
- Treatment: Once your pupils are fully dilated, you will receive your light treatment, which takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Please note that you will be dilated and may want to consider having a driver.
- After the Treatment:
- Once the treatment is complete, you are free to leave the office wearing your UV-Protective glasses.
We accommodate approximately 8-10 patients on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings with one Light Delivery Device and one light technician. With this being said, we appreciate your patience during your time with us.
